The Earth has always been under the protection of great and powerful beings. In the terms of humans they are known as Angels. The Angels realm is large and hidden within the clouds. Each section of the land is guarded and protected by a number of angels. If an Angel shows itself to a human or becomes impure the angel will be thrown from the realm with a punishment befitting the crime. The realm is led by the Angelic Leaders there are four of them two male angels and two female angels they decide what lands are protected by what angels and they decided punishments for angels who stray from the realm.
Many centuries ago in the North Woods of Maine a small settlement was built, it was very secluded and had little laws. The town was full of sin and temptations. This caught the attention of many angels that were tasked with keeping a watchful eye on this part of the land. At first the Angels were disgusted with the acts that took place within the settlement, but soon they became curious as well as tempted by what they saw. Soon a few of the Angels found their way down to the settlement and were welcomed by the humans. The settlers had never seen such beauty and power; they were enchanted by the beautiful white and silver wings and the flawless skin of the Angels. The women fell before the male angels and the men fell before the female angels giving themselves to the great beings. Now the Angels were tainted and impure and had shown themselves to the humans as well as bedded with them. When they left the settlement to return to the realm of angels they were refused by the leaders of the angels. The Leaders were angered by what their people did and brought forth a curse on the settlement. This curse did not harm the humans but changed them, the magic of the curse caused the area of the woods that the settlement resided in to be invisible so that no one would be tempted by the settlements sins again, as well as cursing the humans with the ability to transform into an elemental being. The humans could now become mystical beings of elements that of Water, Earth, Fire or Air. This was not the end of the Angelic Leaders punishment for not only the angels but the humans, for their wrong doing all of the angels were stripped of their pure white and silver wings and cursed with black and silver ones and banished to the settlement.
As the years passed the settlement grew slowly, within the small town you can now find Pure Blood Fallen Angels, Pure Blood Cursed Humans, and Half-Bloods. The Angelic Realm moved on and forgot about the small town they had cursed for all eternity but the magic remains and the town flourishes. The new generations of townspeople hope to one day break the curse on their town.
